Support program for young soccer players
Project objective:
Sport today represents a means for personality development. It strengthens people's health. It also represents a way of spending leisure time. The education of the younger generation is necessary for further development, improvement and increasing the quality of sport. The latest USSK project involves cooperation in widening the basis, selection and development of 10-13 years old children in soccer.
Target group:
School - age boys and girls
From all the boys and girls signed into the soccer club, the Commission consisting of the KAC Jednota Košice soccer club chairman and USSK representatives will decide about their selection into the Programme for supporting boy and girl soccer players from socially - disadvantaged families in terms of the approval procedure based on the following criteria:
- Age between 10 and 13 years
- Talent, physical predisposition and ability
- Social situation of the applicant's family
- Good results in school
Forms of support:
Within the programme U. S. Steel Košice will reimburse the selected children for:
- the training process
- part of the sporting equipment
Inclusion into the program shall be preceded by:
- recruitment of children (carried out throughout the year, excluding July)
- selection of young talent
