Health care

     USSK has been supporting the Technical University Košice on a long-term basis. Besides student internships in its operations, the Company supports student professional competitions "Metallurgy" and "EKO" as well as many projects focused on science and education development. Since the year 2002 we have been co-organizing the international creative workshop "Metal Inspirations", where students transform scrap into art and utility objects.

     The support of educational programs in high schools is mostly provided through the educational organization Junior Achievement Slovakia. In particular USSK supports the "Global Ethical Program", "Applied Economy" and "Travel Business" programs. Besides the financial support, USSK professionals participate in these programs as volunteer lecturers. Cooperation with the Metallurgical Vocational School has its own specific character and is focused mostly on vocational preparation of students - potential USSK employees.
