Health care

     Thanks to help from USSK, health-care institutions have purchased medical equipment, especially the Šaca Hospital, L. Pasteur Teaching Hospital and Children's Hospital in Košice. They have bought high-quality ultrasound devices, surgical instruments, anesthetic machines, ORL units, special adjustable beds, pulse oxymeters, and other equipment that will help with examination and treatment of citizens in Eastern Slovakia. USSK is also one of the Anti-Cancer League partners in public fundraising for cancer prevention, research and treatment - "Daffodil Day" fundraising.
