Refrako successful in Trinec
USSK subsidiary Refrako, whose business is producing refracrtory materials for the steel industry, is enjoying great success in establishing itself on our
neighboring market in the Czech Republic. This is thanks to the quality of its products. Following the record achieved at the end of last month in the durability of the refractory lining of
converter no.1 at the Třinec Steelworks - made from Refrako materials - in terms of the number of melts achieved in one campaign, the company gained another lucrative order with a successful
tender for the contract to supply refractory materials for lining the second converter vessel. The composition of the refractory lining is based on a combination of materials resulting from
consultations between the Kosice ceramics specialists and their partners in UEC Technologies LLC.
