of the parent company and subsidiaries alike, to join in some public benefit work and apply their own time and effort to helping where it is most needed, so that together with the Company they
can take active part in some philanthropical activities to support our region. While Friday, June 8th, is reserved for the Steelmakers Drop of Blood event, Saturday, June 9th, from 9 am to 2 pm,
is intended for active assistance for specific institutions. If you fill in the application form on page 4 of today's issue of Ocel Vychodu and send it to the Editor's Office, your name will be

ICD celebrations at the Zoo in ten days' times
Set aside the first Saturday in June for a visit to Kosice Zoo, where the celebrations will be taking place for International Children's Day, organized by
U. S. Steel Kosice. The Dance Party begins right away at 2 pm. The program is going to be colorful, with plenty of refreshments awaiting you, and there's free entry for all children.
Adults can save on admissions too, if they buy tickets in advance, for example at Ferrotour Travel Agency in the Public Access Area, for a symbolic price in return for which they will receive a
reflective armband as a gift. This can be used later on as a safety aid when cycling or skating.
No weak points found by auditors
The Chief Auditor for the second review audit of the quality management system in line with ISO 9001 and the first review audit in accordance with automobile
technical specification ISO/TS 16949, Pavel Hornik from certification company TÜV NORD, informed U. S. Steel Kosice management of the results of last week's inspection at their final
meeting in the lecture hall last Thursday, May 17th. The decision of the four-member auditing team was heard by Company President David H. Lohr, Vice-presidents, General Managers, and the
Directors of Divisions and Sections in which the auditors inspected the QMS processes. The auditors did not find any system deviations which could be termed as weak points in the quality
management system, and so they will be recommending that TÜV NORD head office prolong the validity of the Company's certificates for a further period.
