KORAD radiators are 40 years old

KORAD heating units (KOsice RADiators) produced by U. S. Steel Kosice are 40 years old. During this time a total of 85 mil. m2 panel radiators have left the steelworks, manufactured from cold-rolled steel sheet. The very first Kosice radiator came off the production line in 1968, but it is the P90 type, which the steelmakers began producing in 1990, that is still made with various modifications to this day. The Radiator Plant holds quality and environmental management certificates in line with the standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14 001:2004, and in 2006 the Korad radiator was awarded the Grand Prix Slovak Gold.
