Seven employees together with their loved ones enjoyed a tour of U. S. Steel Košice as part of the 2nd round of 2023 Family Safety Day.

Summer Sports Games
On Monday, May 23, 2016 the final match ended the 55th U. S. Steel Košice Football Tournament. Eight teams competed for the Champions' title and the President's Cup. The final game saw the Transport Division team come up against the defending champions from the Blast Furnaces Division. The score at full time was tied at 2:2, but then the Transport team won the penalty shoot-out 2:1 to take the title for the first time.
The bronze medals went to the Management team, who drew 0:0 with Power Engineering, but then beat them 3:1 in the penalty shoot-out.
The best goalkeeper of the tournament was Vladimír Stolár from the Blast Furnaces, the best defender was Peter Dieneš from Power Engineering, the most versatile pleayer was Matúš Horváth from Management and the top scorer with 6 goals was Lukáš Lindvai from the Transport Division.

Almost 30 liters of blood will help save lives thanks to the Steelmakers´ Drop of Blood, which kicked off the volunteer event Steelmakers for Košice 2023.
On April 18, 2023, the company U. S. Steel Košice announced the names of organizations and projects that will receive support under its Together for the Region 2023 grant program.
I am convinced that the employees here in Košice are very closely connected with the community.
