Seven employees together with their loved ones enjoyed a tour of U. S. Steel Košice as part of the 2nd round of 2023 Family Safety Day.

Summer Sports Games
The 27th edition of the Summer Sports Games for employees of U. S. Steel Košice took place once again after the school holidays, at the beginning of September.
The official Opening Ceremony was held outside the USSK main Admin Building in the Public Access Area on September 5, with all honors including the hoisting of flags, lighting of the steelmakers' flame and taking of the oath by the participating athletes.
The sports competitions were held between September 7 and 10, closing on Sunday, September 10 with the final, thirteenth sport, which was golf.
The organizers prepared for the participants in the thirteen competition disciplines a unique Summer Games T-shirt.

Almost 30 liters of blood will help save lives thanks to the Steelmakers´ Drop of Blood, which kicked off the volunteer event Steelmakers for Košice 2023.
On April 18, 2023, the company U. S. Steel Košice announced the names of organizations and projects that will receive support under its Together for the Region 2023 grant program.
I am convinced that the employees here in Košice are very closely connected with the community.
