Seven employees together with their loved ones enjoyed a tour of U. S. Steel Košice as part of the 2nd round of 2023 Family Safety Day.

Winter Sports Games
Around 300 participants are expected to come to the Jahodná ski center near Košice on February 10, 2018. Steelmakers' children between 6 and 18 years of age as well as company employees in seven age categories are going to compete in the giant slalom event. Juniors and adults alike may also try their strengths in the snowboard competition. Part of the event is the 20th edition of the Children's Winter Carnival.
Program:
7.00 am - registration of children for the giant slalom
7.30 am - registration of participants in the giant slalom and snowboarding
7.45 am - start of the children's giant slalom
9.00 am - grand opening ceremony
9.25 am - start of the snowboarding
10.00 am - children's winter carnival
10.30 am - start of the 1st round of giant slalom for men and women
11.00 am - awards ceremony for the giant slalom and snowboarding children
1.00 pm - start of the 2nd round of giant slalom for men and women
1.20 pm - awards ceremony for the children's carnival
3.30 pm - awards ceremony for the giant slalom
4.00 pm - bus departure to Košice

Almost 30 liters of blood will help save lives thanks to the Steelmakers´ Drop of Blood, which kicked off the volunteer event Steelmakers for Košice 2023.
On April 18, 2023, the company U. S. Steel Košice announced the names of organizations and projects that will receive support under its Together for the Region 2023 grant program.
I am convinced that the employees here in Košice are very closely connected with the community.
