Participation in the event was conditional upon registration by means of the intranet or by telephone application.
Registration was open to employees of U. S. Steel Košice and its subsidiary companies together with their family members, i.e. spouse or partner and children/grandchildren.
From May 10, 2018 priority of registration was given to those steelmakers who had not been to FSD in the preceding two years. From May 17 onwards registration was open to everyone. The popularity of the FSD event was confirmed by the fact that registration capacity was reached by 10 am on May 17.
