U. S. Steel Kosice produces a wide range of flat rolled products whose high quality is guaranteed by an established quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001. Detailed technical parameters as well as other specific data are presented in the Catalogue.

Hot Rolled Plates are suitable for a wide range of applications, including the manufacturing of machinery, civil (structural) engineering and power engineering.

Cold Rolled Plates are utilized primarily in the automotive, food-packaging, civil engineering and electrical product manufacturing industries.

Electrotechnical Plates also known as silicon or dynamo steels. Finished (isotropic) electrical steels are used in the construction of magnetic circuits for electrical rotating machines, small transformers, solenoids and other electrical equipment components.

Hot Dip Galvanized Plates are produced in drawing grades, structural grades and micro alloyed grades. Applications include automotive, civil and machine engineering, and domestic appliances.

Organic Coated Products are suitable for applications in which oxidizing and corrosion resistance are required. These products are used in civil engineering exterior and interior applications, and for appliances and metal furniture.

Tin Plates are used for food packaging, cans, crown caps and other packaging products.

U. S. Steel Kosice produces pipes and heating devices (panel radiators) from its own steel plates.
Spiral Welded Pipes are produced from hot rolled plates - low-carbon and micro alloyed steels with guaranteed weldability. Pipe products are used for gas and oil transportation, hot water, drinking water and sewage pipes, as well as for civil structural engineering applications.

Heating Radiators marketed under the KORAD brand name, are manufactured from cold rolled plates in a variety of sizes and types to fulfill both commercial and residential heating requirements. A convector insert increases the heating surface area on most models, improving heating output by 30% over conventional designs.
