Many of you, blood donors or volunteers who participate in corporate Volunteer Days, plan your activities so that you can participate in them. This year, an event also known as Steelmakers for Košice, will take place on May 29 and 30.
On Friday, May 29, you will have the opportunity to add "your drop" to the Steelmakers' Drop of Blood at the polyclinic of the AGEL Košice – Šaca Hospital in the USSK Entrance Area.
On Saturday, May 30th, you will be able to support one of the following organizations by volunteering: animal shelter near Haniska, the Center for Children and Families on Hurbanova Street, the Children's Historical Railway, the Košice Zoo or the Košice Botanical Garden. Trade unionists will help the Forrest Gump Club again.
During both days, you will be able to donate clothes and other useful items to charity centers operating in eastern Slovakia through the collection.
You have a lot to look forward to, because it will be the jubilee, 20th year of the event. Two decades of help, teamwork and new acquaintances... If you feel like joining, mark it in your calendar.
Last year, 346 volunteers took part in the event despite the bad weather. Let's recall the best moments from last year:
