Yesterday, Deputy President Mike Piekut and Vice President for Strategy Isao Takenami met with volunteers who participated in the company's Volunteer Days in May. Mike and Isao didn't have time to visit all the places where work took place on Saturday, May 30, so they were happy to see the projected photos from all the locations and talk to the volunteers present.

"Volunteer Days are an amazing tradition of our factory. Thank you all for your involvement in all activities, and for your participation in Saturday's brigade. You have done a lot of excellent work for the community, for our neighbors, this year as well. It was a fantastic day, you deserve a lot of credit," Mike thanked.

Isao added: "For me, it was an opportunity to realize and confirm the very strong bond between our company and you and also the communities of the city of Košice. I am sorry that we could not visit all the places where the work took place, but I believe that my colleagues from Japan and I were represented in every place and that we contributed to all the activities. I believe that next year we will be able to visit even those workplaces that we did not manage to do this time. I am proud of you and thank you all."

Colleagues then exchanged experiences from their volunteer activities over small refreshments.

During the Volunteer Days, Mike and Isao visited the Children's Railway in Čermel, the Center for Children and Families on Hurbanova Street and the Botanical Garden of UPJŠ Košice.
