About the Role
U. S. Steel Košice has been executing a successful digital transformation program for several years, delivering innovative solutions across manufacturing, maintenance, safety, quality, and business functions through digital technologies, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the next phase of the company's digital transformation journey.
The position serves as the leader of the Digital Office and acts as the company's focal point for digital transformation, data strategy, and AI adoption. A key responsibility of the role is leading the development and evolution of the enterprise Digital and AI Strategy and Roadmap in alignment with business and corporate objectives.
The role plays a key part in the company's transition toward a data-driven and AI-enabled enterprise. Beyond managing a portfolio of digital initiatives, the successful candidate will help shape how data, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence are leveraged to improve operational performance, decision making, and long-term competitiveness.
While formally positioned as a Program Manager, the role combines responsibilities typically associated with a Head of Digital Transformation, Digital Office Lead, or Director of Digital & AI in many organizations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and evolution of the enterprise Digital and AI Strategy and Roadmap.
• Lead prioritization and governance of digital, data, analytics, and AI initiatives across production, maintenance, supply chain, and corporate functions.
• Own the Digital Transformation Governance Framework and coordinate Digital Steering Committee activities.
• Drive adoption and scaling of digital and AI solutions, ensuring measurable business value.
• Define business requirements for data platforms, analytics capabilities, AI solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders, IT, and corporate stakeholders to align priorities, investments, and delivery capabilities.
• Support the transformation toward a data-driven enterprise through data governance, analytics adoption, and AI-enabled ways of working.
• Identify, evaluate, and scale high-value digital and AI use cases delivering measurable operational, financial, and productivity benefits.
• Monitor portfolio performance, strategic KPIs, risks, and transformation progress.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve operational performance and business outcomes.
• Foster a culture of innovation, digital adoption, data literacy, and AI-enabled decision making.

Ďalšie požiadavky / Additional requirements:

Required
• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital transformation, analytics, AI, technology, or business transformation programs.
• Proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, steel, automotive, energy, or similar environments.
• Experience with Industry 4.0, enterprise data platforms, analytics, AI, or digital transformation programs.
• Understanding of OT/IT integration, MES, ERP, SCADA, IIoT, or industrial analytics environments.
• Consulting or transformation office experience is an advantage.

Navrhovaný plat / Proposed salary:

€4,800.00 monthly

The minimum base salary for this position is 5,000 EUR gross per month. Final compensation will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise. In addition to base salary, we provide performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
