Once a year, as a company, we will stop for a moment, stop thinking about work and focus on those who need more than just material help. On those to whom we can donate time, energy and a piece of ourselves. Volunteer Day on May 24 will be an opportunity for us as a team to show that we together care about the community and can stand by the people who need it most. This year, for the eleventh time, we are dedicating our help to the Center for Children and Families on Hurbanova Street - a place where disabled children and young adults receive not only nursing and care, but also support and a kind approach.

This year, a variety of tasks await volunteers. From beautifying still lifes, mowing, sanding and painting climbing frames, swings and a gazebo to building a sidewalk that will make it easier for children to get to a place where they can play on nice days. The balcony railings of the main building also require sanding and repainting. It will also be necessary to remove unnecessary belongings and furniture to a prepared container.

Every helping hand counts. You don't need to have special skills, all you need is determination and a desire to dedicate your time where it's needed. It may seem that one day of work won't change much. But the opposite is true, as the center's director Silvia Komorová confirms:

"We can only say a big thank you. In a short time, a lot of work is always done here, which is beneficial for all the children, for this area, for nature. When I see familiar faces who come here in the morning, it warms my heart that they have something here."
