On Thursday July 28 group of nine students studying minning at Dutch Delft University, paid one day visit to U. S. Steel Kosice. They incorporated visit of our plant in their schedule as part of their two week educational trip of central Europe, during which they visited several plants either minning or processing raw materials. They started the trip on July 16 and gradually, through Germany, Austria and Hungary reached also Slovakia. They were welcomed in our plant by vice-president Marcel Novosad who presented the plant history and steel making in Kosice. Part of the visit was also a tour of selected production divisions.
