On Tuesday, the Council of Seniors of the City of Košice organized the 11th year of the popular Senior Star event. On the stage in Kulturpark, 240 performers from 28 clubs took turns on the non-competitive show.

Musical performances, folk songs, but there were also dance performances and oriental dances.

Our seniors from the Autumn of Life joined with colleagues from the Košice – West District and created the singing ensemble Hutník s rozmarínom. The name was created by combining the names of both original choirs Hutník and Rozmarín.

Our seniors sang folk songs and were rewarded with a big applause.

"We came in a strong audience composition. Of course, we applauded everyone, but we also cheered during our performance. We enjoyed the three-hour event very much. So did our singers, but also us – the spectators," says Anna Havierová from the Autumn of Life civic association.
