CHARACTERISTICS

Boron steels are characterized by very good formability in hot rolled state and very high strength after quenching and tempering. Boron as an alloying element effectively increases hardenability of steel.

Boron steels are under development. Orders are subject to prior agreement.

APPLICATION

Agriculture: products which require very good wear resistance and high strength i.e. components of agricultural machinery.

Automotive: tubular stabilizer bars, hot forming applications
