20 August 2004, Kosice - U. S. Steel Kosice´s long-term go is to support talented young people as part of its support to the region. Therefore the company has decided to support the talented designers from universities this year again and help, in cooperation with the Technical University, Faculty of Art in Kosice, with the organization of the workshop called "Metal Inspirations".

This will be the third time we will be able to see the artistic workmanship of metal using several industrial technologies. Different types of waste material was provided by U. S. Steel Kosice. The special workshops, masters, industrial and transfer machines for this event were lent from the SOU Hutnicke - Metallurgy High School in Saca.

Starting From 24 to 30 August 2004 there will be 10 young designers from Poland, Czech republic and Slovakia who will be transforming the cold metal into a piece of art under the supervision of their teachers. This event will culminate on Tuesday August 31 at 1:30pm at the festive opening of the Exhibition in the Show room of U. S. Steel Kosice in the Public Affairs building. The display of the art pieces will be available to the employees and public for in these premises for 3 weeks. The whole exhibition will be moved to the premises of the STM in Kosice on Sept 20, 2004.
