Employees are exhibiting at the U. S. Steel Kosice Gallery

Kosice, June 8, 2005 - The twelfths exhibition of the U. S. Steel Kosice Gallery belongs to ironworkers. Following the genre-varied exhibitions of many artists, employees of the iron- and steelworks have been given an opportunity to exhibit in the gallery. The opening of an art exhibition of their exhibits in the field of painting, sculpture, textile art and handicraft is culmination of the competition in creativeness of employees, which was announced by U. S. Steel at the end of the last year. The ironworkers were working with canvas, paints, clay and wood.

Tinker´s pieces of art are the proof that working with metal is closest to their occupation, and could also be of artistic nature. They will convince you about their skill and fancy by their embroideries, laces and stylish clothing. The competition provides an opportunity for presentation of own work, allows working with renowned painters, and gives an opportunity to acquire new skills and inspiration for further creation of amateur artists.

The opening of an art exhibition will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at five o'clock p.m. The exhibition will be open to the wide public on working days up to July 22, 2005 from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
