At the same time U. S. Steel Kosice was also present at the International Metallurgy, Engineering and Technologies Fair, taking place in Poznan, Poland from June 14th-17th. During the Fair, U. S. Another business managers' meeting

Last week in Kosice the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia organized another in its series of events aimed at supporting the development of the Kosice region. Managers' tennis tournament

Recreational tennis is gaining more and more enthusiasts among our Company's employees, in particular its managers. The recent doubles competition in the Municipal Park for the title of U. S. Steel Kosice Champions was entered by 28 pairs. The four pairs who got through elimination rounds to reach the semi-finals were Kyle Austin Frascarelli - Ralph Corrente, Ladislav Volavka - Bartolomej Kundis, Miroslav Madar - Juraj Bolf and Marcel Palai - Robert Kopf.
The finals were the true climax for the best pairs in the tournament. Madar and Bolf found themselves in a similar situation on the courts like last year, only then they were beaten by the subsequent winning pair Pavia - Kmec. This year they left nothing to chance, playing with focus and emphasis on net strokes, and in the fight for gold they comfortably defeated Frascarelli and Corrente 6:2. The next upcoming tennis tournament comprising men's and women's singles as well as mixed doubles will be taking place during the U. S. Steel Kosice Summer Olympiad.
