Friday, October 25 of this year was reserved for the first gala evening for long-serving employees of U. S. Steel Košice who have worked for 30, 35, 40 and even 45 years at the Košice works. Those recently celebrating and remembering their years spent at the steelworks are employed in these sections: Rescue-Europe, finance, sales and customer technical services, production, IT, engineering and innovation, public affairs, administration and business development, purchasing, Centers of Excellence in procurement, transportation and sales support, subsidiaries and legal services, the Power Generation, Transportation and Shipping divisions, and USSK subsidiary Ferroenergy.
