We reached 3 million hours without injury

U. S. Steel Košice reached 3,000,000 hours without injury on March 27th, 2022. This result applies to the entire company, including subsidiaries.

The last time when we reached the milestone like this was on May 11th, 2021.

The last injury that we recorded was on January 7th, 2022. Employee's left hand was pressed between the construction of the pressure roll and stop pin during the repair of pressure roll. This accident occurred in Coated Products and Tin Mill Division Plant.

We reached a maximum of 6,552,452 hours without an accident on February 15th, 2020. It was the longest period recorded in the USSK history without OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) accident. It represented 169 worked days (5 and a half of month - interval from August 31st, 2019, to February 15th, 2020) without an OSHA accident.
