The city district of Košice – West, with the support of our company, organized a camp for 19 children from the Soňach youth center from the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih. They come from families tragically affected by the war. Thanks to the partnership cooperation of local governments, which was established on the basis of the Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation, they were able to relax from difficult moments from home for at least a few days.

In the first half of June, the children spent six days in the Kysak – Brezie recreation facility, from where they made several trips. The program was planned for them by the employees of the local office of the Košice – West District. As tourists explored the beautiful views around Kysak, they enjoyed the outdoor and indoor pools in Zemplínska Šírava. In Košice, they walked through the historic center and went crazy in the trampoline park. During the stay, there was also a disco or roasting sausages.

The children were accompanied by five adults from Ukraine, but also by Marek Štefanisko from the Košice – West District:
"The most powerful moment was the farewell. Even a few tears fell, the youngest did not want to go back... We stayed in touch even after the end of the camp, which is very pleasant. Thank you for supporting this project."

We supported a camp for children from a war-torn Ukrainian city with EUR 5,000.
