On Thursday, October 12, the representatives of the contracting parties, Juraj Varga for the Council of Labor Union OZ KOVO U. S. Steel Košice, Milan Beregszászi for the local organization of Independent Christian Labor Union KOVO METAL U. S. Steel Košice, and U. S. Steel Košice President Scott Buckiso and Vice President Human Resources Martin Pitorák as Company officers representing the employers U. S. Steel Košice, s.r.o., U. S. Steel Košice – SBS, s.r.o. and U. S. Steel Košice – Labortest, s.r.o., together signed Amendment no. 3 to the U. S. Steel Košice Collective Agreement covering the period from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2020.
This document introduces more attractive bonuses for the first voluntary termination of employment at the start of entitlement to invalidity pension, as well as prior to the start of entitlement and during the first month of entitlement to old-age pension. These provisions became valid on the day the document was signed by both sides of the agreement, and they come into force as of January 1, 2018.
