New measures introduced in connection with the pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic situation in Slovakia is currently bad, and health-care facilities are overburdened with having to treat patients suffering from the virus, which also limits their capability to deal with other prevalent health problems. Vaccination is the safest and most effective way of getting protection from COVID-19 infection, and particularly from a more serious course of the illness. So let’s all take advantage of the opportunity to get vaccinated, thereby protecting our own health and indirectly also that of our nearest and dearest.

All catering facilities throughout the USSK works now only serve vaccinated employees in person. Non-vaccinated employees may only pick up take-away meals. Training courses have been interrupted, and preventive medical check-ups as well as recuperation stays are cancelled until the end of the year at least.

The special testing facility beside the Public Affairs building continues to function. It is intended for employees of USSK and its subsidiaries, external contractors and official visitors. Presentation of an ID card is required. The testing unit is open between 2 and 4 pm every working day, i.e. from Monday to Friday. Antigen test results are sent to employees via text message.
