Presentation of another investor

October 27, Kosice - Another investor established in Eastern Slovakia also thanks to cooperation with USSK EDC and Slovak Agency for Development of Investments and Trade (SARIO) is MAZAK Slovakia, s.r.o., which officially opens its alloy production operations within USSK area.

This facility, for MAZAK LIMITED also first outside of GB, is for the company important milestone in the effort to supply top quality zinc alloys to customers in Eastern and Central Europe.

Company grew from a very humble and small experimental conditions into company with annual production near 15.000 tons.

MAZAK SLOVAKIA, s.r.o. has so far created 20 new jobs. Company goal is to expand scope of services provided to their customers in Slovakia and in Europe, which will lead to creation of numerous direct and indirect job opportunities. Major reason is that thanks to the startup of alloy production in Kosice facility the availability of this commodity increased, which improves competitiveness of Slovak pressure-casting producers and attracts new alloy processors, primarily automotive customers into the region. MAZAK LIMITED has indicated intentions of its West European customers to locate their facilities in Slovakia.

Among major MAZAK SLOVAKIA customers will be press-foundries in Poland, Hungary, Czech republic, Austria, Romania as well as Turkey and China. One of customers is also USSK which uses zinc alloys for its galvanizing line.
