Film and digital print producer comes to the east



December 1, 2004, Kosice- Economical Development Center U. S. Steel presents another investor in the region. Danish company Glunz & Jensen has had 40-year experience at photographic equipment processing. The company has chosen location of their investments in Slovakia - city Presov and intends to create 60 new jobs in the first stage of production start-up.

Parent company with its registered office in Danish city Ringsted has extended its operations through establishment of new branches. The company production began in English city Thetford at the moment of handover of operation AGFA in year 2001. Department performing in Washington DC represent an important part of the company. Currently, company Glunz & Jensen cooperates with more than 250 distributors in more than 90 countries. The biggest customers refer to companies AGFA, KODAK, FUJI, CREO, HEIDELBERG and KODAK POLYCHROME.

"Our coming to central part of extended Europe, particularly to Presov, is closely associated with the company vision and goals - to maintain leading position of film producer as well as to extend and maintain leading position of board processor supplier on the global market. Another important reason why we decided to establish our branch here refers to the fact, that Slovak policy is friendly towards foreign investors and, moreover, this region dispose with highly qualified labor force. I believe this investment will help us to come the company vision true, that binds us to offer the best services to customers at the best prices. I believe that local conditions in Presov allow us to reach our growth as fast as possible," Ole Norklit - Director, Production said.
