Volunteer of the Year 2023 has been revealed. Our colleagues earned Service champion award!

U.S. Steel Corporation has announced the names of the 2023 Volunteer of the Year and Champions of Volunteerism.

Tyrell Anderson, an Operational Excellence Engineer at Gary Works, was named the United by Service 2023 Volunteer of the Year. Tyrell is the president of Decay Devils, an organization which is making various efforts to preserve, restore, and repurpose historic structures in Northwest Indiana. Not only have they done some beautification of the historic railway building in Gary, but they also arranged for its lease to an internet startup company. This historical building will finally be refurbished and will provide revenue and rent for the City of Gary.

Our colleagues Monika Moravanská and Jozef Topoľovský are among the twelve other employees named 2023 Service Champions. We will introduce both of them to you in the coming days.

Congratulations to all!
